Clear a parking bay or the whole garage
Start by deciding whether the goal is an empty garage or room for a car, workbench or storage area. Mark shelves and tools that are staying. Send wide photos of each wall and the floor, followed by closer photos of heavy items. A single picture from the driveway can miss cabinets, side rooms and belongings tucked behind a vehicle.
Separate the contents from installed storage
Freestanding furniture and loose boxes differ from overhead racks, wall-mounted cabinets and equipment fixed to the floor. Identify attachments without loosening them. If shelves are loaded, explain what needs to be removed from them and what stays. Keep heavy items supported if you cannot safely unload them yourself; preparation must be included in the discussion.
Show the loading route at your Scottsdale property
Include the garage opening, driveway and any gate between the items and the vehicle access. Tell us whether a parked car can be moved for the appointment or whether removal must use a side door. Share applicable entry or loading instructions supplied by your property manager or association. Do not put items in a shared road or block an exit to stage the pickup.
Disclose garage materials before the quote
Paint, fuel, batteries, chemicals and unknown liquids should be listed separately from ordinary household junk. Do not conceal containers inside boxes or assume everything in a garage is accepted. Appliances still connected to utilities need appropriate preparation, and heavy specialty equipment needs individual assessment. Your photo quote should describe the actual load and any work needed before hauling.
