Count equipment by room or workspace
List desks, chairs, cabinets and other unwanted items for each suite or room. Identify furniture owned by the landlord, leased equipment and items employees will collect. For a partial cleanout, mark retained workstations clearly. Show the entire group in photos; one example chair does not establish the number of chairs or the load from a full office.
Arrange building access before choosing a time
Ask the building contact about loading areas, elevator reservations and contractor entry requirements, then share those details with the quote request. Describe the route from the suite to the loading location and any stairs. An appointment outside normal business hours must be confirmed rather than assumed. Provide the Scottsdale pickup address and any move-out deadline so scheduling can be discussed accurately.
Prepare records and connected equipment
Have the responsible employee remove confidential documents, manage device data and disconnect retained IT equipment appropriately. Hauling does not include a data-erasure or document-destruction certificate. Confirm whether a copier must be returned to its owner. Connected cubicles, desks with power and conference tables with shared supports require assessment before separation; do not dismantle unfamiliar systems for a photograph.
Confirm the whole cleanout before loading
Include break-room furniture, spare chairs and storage cabinets if they are part of the request. Tell us when other movers or installers will finish so the unwanted items are available. Load size, weight, elevator access and agreed handling work affect the upfront price. Removal does not automatically include installing replacement furniture, cleaning the suite or repairing walls and flooring.
